Outlook - How to Submit a Phish Alert from a Shared Mailbox

Introduction

This article gives instructions on how you can flag an e-mail as a Phishing attempt when working within a Shared Mailbox.

Instructions

  1. Login to outlook.office365.com using your county e-mail account.

  2. Once logged into your mailbox, click on your name in the upper right hand corner of the page.

  3. In the menu that displays, select Open another mailbox

     

  4. Type in the mailbox name or e-mail address into the search bar, then select the shared mailbox when it displays.

  5. Click the Open button.

  6. A new tab will open, bringing you to the shared mailbox.

  7. Locate the e-mail that you want to submit a Phish Alert for, and open it.

  8. Click the Three Dot menu, in the upper right corner of the e-mail, then click Phish Alert.

  9. On the next screen, you will be prompted to review the subject and sender of the e-mail you wish to report. Simply click the Report to FCDC Info. Security button, to submit the e-mail as a phishing e-mail.
