How to Use Remote Desktop (RDP)

These instructions assume GlobalProtect VPN is being used for off network connections

Opening Remote Desktop

  • Press the Windows Key

  • Type in RDP, or Remote Desktop Connection

  • Click on the Remote Desktop Connection App

  • Enter the computer you want to connect too

  • Enter your password if account is already filled in

    1. If you account is not listed click “More choices” link to change the account

If using a personal device enter FCDCDOM1\your_account for the user ID.

  • Screen changes to the Authorized User Agreement, Click OK

  • You are in

 

Logging Off from Remote Session

  • Press the Windows key or Click on the Start button icon

  • Click on Power and select Disconnect

  • Remote Desktop Screen will disappear
