How to install and use GlobalProtect VPN on Android

Installing through the Android Play Store

Open the Play Store on your Android phone

Search for ‘GlobalProtect'

If authentication is required, enter your Play Store Credentials

If not, select the GlobalProtect App and click on Install

Once installed, the button will change from Install to Open

 

Configuring GlobalProtect VPN for First Time Use

Tap the Open button after the app is installed (or tap the GlobalProtect icon)

Enter fcohvpn.gpcloudservice.com for the portal address and click Connect

Enter your username and password and click on the Sign On button

Approve the PingID prompt

  • If you do not see the below alert, or if it tells you the connection has timed out, you will be prompted to enter the 6 digit code from the PingID app

  • PingID authentication is time sensitive and you have 60 seconds to authenticate

When successfully authenticated GlobalProtect will start connecting

You will then get a Connection Request popup. Click OK

You are now connected to GlobalProtect

 

Opening and Connecting to GlobalProtect VPN

Open the app

Tap to Connect

Enter your account and password

Approve the PingID notification, icon changes to Connected

 

Signing Out of GlobalProtect

Open the app and click disconnect

Icon will change to disconnected

While connected to the GlobalProtect VPN, all your device’s Internet traffic flows through the County firewall, with all rules and logging in effect. Disconnect from the VPN to resume “normal” Internet service.
