How to import data into Microsoft Edge

Introduction

In Microsoft Edge , you can import almost all of your data from Internet Explorer, Google Chrome, and Mozilla Firefox and use it in Microsoft Edge to minimize the setup required for switching over and to continue working in ways that are familiar to you with the other browsers. You can also import your passwords from 3rd Party Password Managers to further simplify setting up Microsoft Edge.  

Importing Data into Edge

On your computer, Open Microsoft Edge 

  1. Click the ellipsis

    1. Select Settings.

  1. Select Import browser data

  1. Select Choose what to import

  1. Select the program that contains the bookmarks you'd like to import

    1. Select Import.

  1. When the import is complete, you'll see a notification. Select Done.
