How to Request a new Distribution Group

There are a few processes that have not yet been automated through Adaxes. However Adaxes is still your centralized location to make these requests.

Using this option in Adaxes does NOT automatically create the Distribution Group. This will simply kick off the workflow in Jira for the account creation.

Instructions

Log into the Adaxes Dashboard.
You can request the creation of a distribution group by clicking on the “Create Distribution Group” in the left panel.

Next you will fill out the required information.

Distribution Group Display Name
Desired Distribution group email address
Description of the group (What will this group be used for?)
Group Members (Who will need to be added as a member of this Distribution Group)

Once all information is filled in, click on the “OK” button. Your request has been submitted.

By requesting a distribution group through Adaxes a Jira ticket will be created with all the information about the group that is needed. This will kick off the work flow and the proper teams will address and process the request.
