How to Request Additional User Access

There are a few processes that have not yet been automated through Adaxes. However Adaxes is still your centralized location to make these requests. You will use this option if you find that a user needs additional access that is outside of the entitlements of their given role, or is needed in addition to a particular role (such as an exception or “one-off” access).

Using this option in Adaxes does NOT automatically grant the the user the requested access. This will simply kick off the workflow in Jira for the account access to be reviewed, and applied.

 Instructions

  1. Log into the Adaxes Dashboard.

  2. You can request additional access for a user by clicking on the “Additional Access” in the left panel.

If this is an entitlement that needs to be added to a role please contact the FCDC Identity Security Team (Secteam@franklincountyohio.gov).

  1. Next you search for the user that need to additional access.

  1. Click “Next”

  2. Type the desired access/entitlements needed for the user.

  1. click “Finish”

By requesting Additional User Access through Adaxes a Jira ticket will be created with all the information about the Account that is needed. This will kick off the work flow and the proper teams will address and process the request.
