How to Use Remote Desktop (RDP)

These instructions assume you are not using the rdgateway server and GlobalProtect VPN is being used for off network connections

Opening Remote Desktop

1. Press the Windows Key

2. Type in RDP, or Remote Desktop Connection

3. Click on the Remote Desktop Connection App

   

4. Enter the computer you want to connect too

   

5. Enter your password if account is already filled in

   1. If you account is not listed click “More choices” link to change the account

      

1. Screen changes to the Authorized User Agreement, Click OK

   

2. You are in

Logging Off from Remote Session

1. Press the Windows key or Click on the Start button icon

2. Click on Power and select Disconnect

   

3. Remote Desktop Screen will disappear
