When you change your password in Ping, you are changing your Domain / Windows / Network password – they are all the same thing. So any applications that use your Windows login for authentication will also need your new password. |

We recommend you change your password during a period when you have time – up to an hour – to update your smartphone apps, your Outlook and OneDrive logins, and other apps with saved passwords. And be prepared for additional password prompts for the next 24 hours. |

Open a web browser and navigate to: https://connection.franklincountyohio.gov:9031/ext/pwdchange/Identify?AdapterId=PassRecPingID
Alternatively, when accessing an application, you can also click Change Password? at the bottom of the Sign On prompt
Enter your username, current password, new password, and confirm that new password at Change Password prompt
Click Submit button
If you receive an error, try again ensuring to follow password complexity rules:
- At least 15 characters & at most, 3 repeat characters in a row
- Not contain the user's account name or parts of the user's full name that exceed two consecutive characters
- At least 1 letter
- Must include 3 of the 4:
- At least 1 numeric number
- At least 1 special character
- At least 1 uppercase letter
- At least 1 lowercase letter
You’ll receive the following screen confirming your password has been reset
You are now ready to use your new password!
