Respond “yes” to the Ping MFA prompt on your device.

Check your text messages for a passcode and enter that passcode into the Authentication prompt.

Check your voicemail for a passcode and enter that passcode into the Authentication prompt.

  1. When the Unlock Your Account appears, your account is unlocked and you may proceed to You’ll receive the following screen confirming your account has been unlocked along with a confirmation email. You may use your current password to login.

  2. Alternatively, you may also click the Reset Password button to change your password

  1. Enter your new password and confirm that new password

  1. Click Reset button

    1. If you receive an error, try again ensuring to follow password complexity rules:
      - At least 8 characters & at most, 3 repeat characters in a row
      - At least 1 letter
      - Must include 3 of the 4:
      - At least 1 numeric number
      - At least 1 special character
      - At least 1 uppercase letter
      - At least 1 lowercase letter

  2. You’ll receive the following screen confirming your password has been reset along with a confirmation email

  3. You are now ready to use your new password!

Note

After a Windows password change, you will likely have to update your password in smartphone and tablet apps, sign in again in Outlook or OneDrive, or update passwords in other applications.
