CyberArk Privileged Account Retrieval

 

 

Using Google Chrome, browse to the following URL: https://cyberark.co.franklin.oh.us

 

 

You will be presented with a login page where you enter in your network username and password:

 

 

Click the “Sign On” button, and you will begin the Ping MFA authentication process using your cell phone with the PingID app installed. Swipe up in PingID on your phone, and you will be logged into your CyberArk Dashboard.

 

 

Click on the ellipses (marked in yellow above) and then chose the “Show” option.

 

 

In the Show Password box, type a valid reason for retrieving the password for this privileged account, and then click the “Show” button.

 

You can now click on “Copy” and grab the current password for this managed, privileged account. You can click the “Close” button, or the screen will disappear after a few seconds.

 

 

Back on your machine’s desktop, launch a Remote Desktop session, and using your pr1_username with the password that is currently copied to your clipboard, login to an fcdcdom1 server or workstation. Once successfully logged in with your privileged account, log out and let the Security Team know that you have completed this test at Secteam@franklincountyohio.gov.
