Monitors not connecting, a Usb device plugged into the dock is not working, or the power button not working to power on the computer.
🌱 Solution
If a display, or any other device connected to the Dell Dock is not working, the Dock Reset should be the first troubleshooting step to attempt to alleviate the problem.
Remove the dock USB-C or Thunderbolt cable from the computer.
Disconnect all devices from the dock by unplugging them.
Unplug AC power from the dock.
Drain any remaining power to the dock by holding the power button for 30 seconds.
Plug AC power into the dock.
Connect all devices back to the dock.
Plug the dock USB-C or Thunderbolt cable back to the computer.
If you are still experiencing problems, after preforming a dock reset, contact the helpdesk.
