Monitors not connecting, a Usb device plugged into the dock is not working, or the power button not working to power on the computer.
🌱 Solution
If a display, or any other device connected to the Dell Dock is not working, the Dock Reset should be the first troubleshooting step to attempt to alleviate the problem.
Solution
Unplug Remove the dock USB-C or Thunderbolt cable from the computer.
Disconnect all devices from the dock Hold the power button of the dock down by unplugging them.
Unplug AC power from the dock.
Drain any remaining power to the dock by holding the power button for 30 seconds.
Plug AC power into the dock.
Connect all devices back in
If the devices are not working, then you may need to troubleshoot the device itself, if the device works directly plugged into the computer but still doesn’t work in the dock, contact the HelpDesk for assistance.
