Problem

If a user reports a problem with video, or another device not working out of the dock, perform the below steps

Solution

  1. Unplug all devices from the dock

  2. Hold the power button of the dock down for 30 seconds

  3. Plug the devices back in

  4. If the devices are not working, then you may need to troubleshoot the device itself, if the device works directly plugged into the computer but still doesn’t work in the dock, contact Dell Support for assistance.

A common issue that a dock reset can fix is video not displaying to the monitors, or the power button not working to power on the computer.
