To make remembering to log into Workforce Password Management (WPM) easier, you can utilize the startup settings in your browser(s) to automatically load the WPM login page. There are a couple ways to do this, the first being to save the tabs you have open upon closing the browser and the second being to set the WPM login page as a persistent tab that is loaded upon opening the browser.
Setting Startup Settings in Chrome
Open your Chrome browser
Click on the 3 dots at top right
Click Settings
Decide which option you’d like to use:
Continue where you left off - this will reopen the tabs you had open when you last used the browser:
Click On Startup
Click Continue where you left off option
Open a specific page or set of pages - this will open specific websites in tabs every time you open the browser:
Click On Startup
Click Open a specific page or set of pages option
Decide which option you want to proceed with:
Add a new page - Add website URL(s)
Use current pages - Save the tabs you currently have open to open each time you open your browser.
Close Settings tab.
Starting Startup Settings in Edge
Open your Edge browser
Click on the 3 dots at top right
Click Settings
Decide which option you’d like to use:
Continue where you left off - this will reopen the tabs you had open when you last used the browser:
Click Start, home, and new tabs
Click Open tabs from the previous session option
Open a specific page or set of pages - this will open specific websites in tabs every time you open the browser:
Click Start, home, and new tabs
Click Open these pages option
Decide which option you want to proceed with:
Pages - Add website URL(s)
Clear the list and set it to all currently open tabs - Save the tabs you currently have open to open each time you open your browser.
Close Settings tab.
