CyberArk Login Tips

  • Only use Google Chrome to login to Cyberark at https://cyberark.co.franklin.oh.us, and you must be on the network via VPN or Remote Gateway, or physically on the network.

  • If errors occur, toggling wi-fi or re-establishing your internet connection on your laptop or phone may clear up the errors.

  • After errors, close Google Chrome and start with a fresh session each attempt.

  • Remoting to a machine on the network before signing in may give you better performance than just launching your browser locally over VPN.

  • Make sure you have only one phone paired with Ping for your username and email address. Old phones must be removed from your Ping dashboard: https://desktop.pingone.com/cd-432669976.franklincountyohio

CyberArk Login Instructions

The first step in logging into CyberArk, which does require MFA, is to make sure your username (as opposed to your email account which is most likely already paired for O365) is paired with Ping. Below are instructions for doing that. However, if you login to Ping with your username and are taken straight to your Ping Dashboard, as opposed to the “pairing page” shown below, then you already have your username paired with Ping and can skip below to the CyberArk login instructions.

Please Note: You may first want to connect to the FCDC Network over VPN, and/or Remote Desktop to a machine on the network, before beginning these steps. (This PingID link is available externally, but CyberArk is not available externally, so you will need to connect over VPN or RDP to reach the CyberArk login page as listed later on in these instructions.)

To pair your regular network username with Ping, open Google Chrome browser and follow these steps:

[1] In the same browser window, open the following link:

[2] Click on “I already installed the PingID app” and you should see the following page.

On your phone, open the PingID app and click the + sign to the right of “My Organizations”, then scan the QR code displayed on your screen with your phone and the mobile device should be linked to your account, and you should then receive a PingID swipe request on your phone. You can then close the browser tab/window.

You can now try the login instructions for CyberArk below, and if successful, you should see the Dashboard and your privileged username listed there like in the screenshot below.

Info

If you encounter an authentication failure initially, close your browser and try again with a new session. Also, you may need to refresh your internet connection if problems occur.

Using Google Chrome, browse to the following URL: https://cyberark.co.franklin.oh.us

You will be presented with a login page where you enter in your regular, network username and password.

Click the “Sign On” button, and you will begin the Ping MFA authentication process using your cell phone with the PingID app installed.

Swipe up in PingID on your phone, and you will be logged into your CyberArk Dashboard. You should see your privileged username listed on the Dashboard.

You can then logout by clicking on your username in the top right corner and choosing “Sign Out”.
