If a user reports a problem with videodisplay, or another device not working out of the dock, perform the below stepsany other device connected to the Dell Dock is not working, the Dock Reset should be the first troubleshooting step to attempt to alleviate the problem.

Solution

  1. Unplug all devices from the dock

  2. Hold the power button of the dock down for 30 seconds

  3. Plug the devices back in

  4. If the devices are not working, then you may need to troubleshoot the device itself, if the device works directly plugged into the computer but still doesn’t work in the dock, contact Dell Support for assistance.
