Device Compliancy

When a device becomes non-compliant with Franklin County’s mobile device management policies it will be marked as such, which results in certain actions being taken automatically. There are notifications associated for non-compliant device(s) that are sent out ahead of the action being executed.

Franklin County’s mobile device compliance policies broadly look at Device Health, Device OS Version, and some of the System Security Settings of the enrolled device to ensure that there is a minimum baseline standard of mobile device security being met.

Provided in this Confluence article is a list of notifications that could be sent out when a device is marked as non-compliant.

Company Portal > Devices > Check Status

Initial Non-Compliance

Subject: Franklin County Intune Notification - [ Initial Notification ]

Message Body:

Your device is currently not compliant with our mobile device management policies at the moment.

Please open the Company Portal application on your device. Click the notification at the bottom of the application to view the reason(s) why your device is not compliant.

7 Days Non-Compliant

Subject: Franklin County Intune Notification - [ 2nd Notification ]

Message Body:

Your device is still not compliant with our mobile device management policies, and it has been 7 days since the initial notification.

Please open the Company Portal application on your device(s). Click the notification at the bottom of the application to view the reason(s) why your device is not compliant.

If your device remains out of compliance after 7 or more days from the date of this email, access to company data and work applications will be restricted on your device(s).

30 Days Non-Compliant

Subject: Franklin County Intune Notification - [ Device Retirement ]

Message Body:

Due to this device being out of compliance for the last 30 days your enrollment in Franklin County's Intune platform is being revoked.

Company data and applications are removed from the device during un-enrollment. Your personal data and applications will not be affected.

Please contact the Franklin County Intune support team to assist you in regaining access to company data and applications on your mobile device.
