How to install Zoom via Software Center

The following instructions allow users on most County PCs to install the full Zoom client software on their machines without having to ask for any additional support.

These instructions will work on any Windows PC…

  • joined to the FCDCDOM1 domain, and

  • connected to the network internally or via VPN

Instructions

[1] Search for and select Software Center from the search / Start menu

  • Click the Start (Windows) button in the lower-left corner

  • Type “software center

  • Tap Enter

[2] In Software Center, on the left side, select Applications to view and install software.

[3] Browse/search for an application

[4] Click to select the Zoom application

[5] Click Install and wait for the installation to complete

[6] Once the installation has completed, you can close the Software Center window and click the Start (Windows) button and type Zoom to find and start the Zoom software
