Introduction

All users will receive the following email invitation to register in SailPoint:

  • The Register Now button above may not be visible in your email. To see the button, click download pictures for this email so you can see it and click it.

  • Your “Username” is your current Windows domain or network login.

  • If you have previously downloaded the SailPoint app to your mobile device, you will have to uninstall and reinstall using the organization.

  • Please enter an alternate phone number (a cell phone is best) and an alternative email address. The alternate should NOT be your work desk extension or your work email, which is already in the system from Active Directory.

  • Enter the details and click “Register.”

Recommendations for answering security questions

  • The answer to a security question cannot be the user's password or username.

  • The answer to a security question cannot be in the question

  • Consider using a response that does not correspond to the question.

  • Avoid answers that are vulnerable to social engineering (don’t use what you have posted).

  • Follow password complexity rules for your answers (upper, lower, special characters).

  • Use spaces where you can.

The login screen appears when you click “Register.”

Enter your Login Credentials and click Sign in

SailPoint will require a second form of authentication each time you log in.

Enter your code for the second Authentication, and then you will be taken to the “New password” screen.

Correctly entering your new login credentials will take you to your dashboard screen.

An explanation to each of the items in the dashboard is listed below the image.

  • My Passwords: Displays the number of passwords managed by SailPoint for you

  • My Requests: Displays number of Password requests made by you

  • My Approvals: Displays the number of requests approved or denied by your supervisor

  • My Tasks: Displays the number of tasks to be done by you

  • My Certifications: Displays the number of pending certifications assigned for assessment

  • My Access: Displays Accesses given to you for different Applications or Systems

Please note that depending on your agency responsibilities, you may not have information in all boxes. The page is customizable so that you may only see the information that you need.
